"The Adults" Play In Queenstown

When the opportunity arose yesterday (from a good friend Lynn Christie, thank you again) to go and see “The Adults” perform live at Revolver Bar here in Queenstown last night, Robbie and  I jumped on it!

 

Both being Shihad fans for the past 20 years (fuck me must be getting on)  we were pretty darn interested to see what John Toogood’s new project was all about. 

 

The Adults is a collaboration of New Zealand’s top musicians headed by John Toogood from Shihad. On their tour the band comprises of just three with John, Julia Deans from “Fur patrol” and Shayne Carter from such bands as Straight Jacket fits. The beats were rolling out from a trusty Mac Book and with the keys, guiter, and bass coming from the above crew, it sounded absolutely surperb.
